Edmonton YMCA receives nearly $25 million for affordable housing

Premier Stelmach announces that low to moderate-income Albertans are one step closer to having an affordable place to live thanks to $24.9 million in provincial funding for the YMCA’s new Welcome Villageaffordable housingproject. This new endeavor is expected to develop 150 additional affordable housing units as well as create employment within the construction industry in Edmonton.
